On December 10, 2013, Childish Gambino released his second studio album, ‘Because the Internet.’

Two years after his 2011 full-length release ‘Camp,’ Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino returned with a new album. After his debut album became somewhat of a cult classic on the internet, Gambino played into it with a title that was an ode to the place that helped develop and elevate his talent.

Along with 19 tracks, Gambino also released a 72-page screenplay on his website for a short film titled ‘Clapping for the Wrong Reasons’ that was meant to pair with the album. ‘Because the Internet’ featured appearances from Chance The Rapper, Jhené Aiko, and Azealia Banks. The album, which debuted at No. 7 on Billboard, earned itself Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
