Comment “OIL” if you don’t want to wait for part 2 for a DM with a link to my full video breakdown on what oils you should be using and what oils you should be avoiding!

We live in a world full of processed foods, fast food, and oils that aren’t doing our bodies any favors. Many of the oils you find in packaged foods and at restaurants are highly inflammatory, and they’re not the best choice when it comes to cooking at home. But here’s the good news—you have control over what you cook with, and by making just a few swaps, you can improve your health and wellness every day! Here are a few reasons why I want you to be picky about your oils:

1. Many processed oils have a low smoke point, meaning they break down when heated and release harmful compounds. We don’t want that in our bodies! 🚫
2. Oxidized oils from light and air create inflammation in the body, which can contribute to chronic health problems.
3. Unhealthy omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid ratios: Most processed oils are out of balance, which can throw off your body’s overall health. 🧠

Here is a list of oils to avoid:
Canola oil
Sunflower oil
Soybean oil
Corn oil
Cottonseed oil
Hydrogenated oil
Partially hydrogenated oil
Refined palm oil
Safflower oil
Ricebran oil
Grapeseed oil

The more you consume these oils, the more likely you are to experience health issues over time. So, we need to make sure we’re choosing the best oils for our health—ones that are rich in healthy fats and won’t create inflammation.

So, what can you do? Start cooking with healthier, higher-quality oils! In part 2 of this series, I’ll break down 5 healthy fats and oils that should always be in your kitchen, and why they’re so good for you.
