“Track was purple, there were people running everywhere.”

With apologies to Prince, on the road to @wchoregon22 , I had the opportunity to hang out with Team @athleticsaustralia at my home track at the University of Washington, or as I affectionately call it, “the track that @izzibattdoyle built!”
:
:
If you’re a track nerd like me, hanging out at practice with these folks is like getting the keys to the candy AND ice cream store!
:
:
Special bonus is in the last photo, where my good friend, two time @teamusa Olympian, and @uwtrack teammate Duncan Atwood introduced me to Australian coach and former world javelin record holder Uwe Hohn, who threw the old javelin 343-9 (104.80m). I had to repay Duncan with a photo of the two legends of the javelin.
