What an honor to capture @carleyy.thomas first race as a senior at the world championships for @athleticsaustralia at @iaafdoha2019 :
She should really be in Seattle learning the various ways to get to class as a freshman at @uofwa but the experience she’s getting racing against the world’s best is invaluable.

Though she was off of her personal best, she ran 2:04.65 to finish fifth in her heat of the 800m.

That time is the second fastest in @uwtrack history and broke the school freshman record, and I promise you that she will be a force for the Dawgs!
