As we count down to #Doha2019 and the @iaafdoha2019 world championships, here’s a shot from the first world championships that I covered in Tokyo of the men’s 5000 semis, featuring Bob Kennedy of @USATF, and Frank O’Mara from Ireland. :
Fast forward a few years later, and Kennedy became the first American to break 13 minutes in the 5000m.
