Stunned to hear of the passing of two-time @teamusa member and four-time world championships competitor @jarred_rome on Saturday, a few days after he was inducted into the Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame.

He graduated from @boisestatebroncos where he was an outstanding thrower for @boisestatexctf .

After he retired from the sport, he coached for five seasons at @gocugotrack , before moving to Boston to coach at @terriertfxc .

Here’s a photo I shot of him in the discus qualifying round at #berlin2009 :
We often talked about how being passed over for the opportunity to throw for @uwtrack motivated him during his time at Boise State. I can honestly say that when the throws position opened up at the UW, I wished he would have been invited to interview for the position based on his body of work at Concordia.
