## Caption

‘El equipo del pueblo’ knows no bounds. Whether it’s Peru or the US, Alianza Lima and their fans know how to put on a spectacle on and off the field. The Peruvian champions rolled into New Jersey to face off against NJ Alliance FC for a special friendly at Clifton Stadium, and the sea of blue and white fans turned the venue into the mythical Matute. With chants and flags waving proudly in the air, Passaic County could have well been the Peruvian capital. After going undefeated last year and taking the first-ever women’s league title in Peru, the Alianza Lima Women’s Team has continued to search for new challenges, and on their short tour to New Jersey, they delivered a 2-0 win against Alliance FC for all those who packed the stands. The Alianza Lima faithful in the area got the chance to see their historic club on American soil, and the team had the chance to measure their talents against players from outside South America. Hopefully, more clubs from the region will look to make the trip to the US, as their communities here never fail to turn up in the only way they know how. La Victoria New Jersey. El cuadro Íntimo abrió su paso por Estados Unidos con una gran actuación ante NJ Alliance FC, derrotando a la escuadra Norteamericana por 2-0. El Estadio Clifton se pintó de azul y blanco para recibir a las Aliancistas, y ya sea en Matute o en New Jersey, los cánticos y banderas no faltaron de parte de una gran hinchada que se hizo sentir en todo momento. Las vigentes campeonas del torneo peruano demostraron que se puede competir a nivel internacional y ojalá se den más partidos entre escuadras Latinoamericanas y Yankees. Aparte del producto en el campo, la comunidad Latina en EEUU siempre da la talla.
