What are you looking forward to after graduation? β€œI feel as though I have learned how to work with various communities in either an advocacy or teaching capacity, but I am excited at the prospect of not only taking my academics, but my drive for community building to other places and actualizing change. In addition, I am excited to rest and take up a new hobby like skating!” What are you going to miss about being a UNC student? β€œI am going to miss the physical proximity I have with my peers the most. Having friends, classmates, and team members all within a short walk or 5-minute drive has been a gift I haven’t taken for granted. Community is very important to me so I look forward to finding a space similar to UNC that helps build that connectivity after I graduate.” What advice do you have for future Tar Heels? β€œI have a lot of advice actually but to keep it short and sweet, I highly encourage incoming students to be ambitious, patient, and persistent with their endeavors at UNC. You are destined to leave your Heel Print in some way β€” take chances and always bet on yourself. Be smart about how you move and always keep moving toward your goal. Sometimes that goal may shape-shift as it matures, but nevertheless, keep moving toward it.” How are you feeling right now? β€œIt is surreal that everything I have done in high school and over the past three and a half years has led up to this point of finishing my academic education (at least for now!). It is a bittersweet feeling but in the best way – I know the world is waiting for me and my time at UNC has prepared me to exceed my goals outside of academics.” Congrats, Krystal!
