Today in Hip-Hop — On December 15, 1992 drdre released his debut solo album, ‘The Chronic.’

After leaving NWA, Dre put out his first solo studio album. ‘The Chronic’ peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified triple platinum. The debut album featured singles like “Nuthin’ but a G Thang” and “Let Me Ride.” As well as an impressive introduction to a young snoopdogg ahead of his own ‘Doggystyle’ debut in 1993.
