5th Place at usatfclubxc!

My lowkey goal was to be in the Top 10 of this race. 
My main goal was to have fun. 
I had no idea where I would end up, but I stepped on the gas from the beginning and found myself in the front pack until the end. The mud and wind eventually got the best of me…but I’m super proud I cracked the Top 5!

Cross Country was my first love. I didn’t have a true direction or a true group of friends until I joined the XC team in middle school. That first day of practice I met a bunch of weirdos (just like me) who enjoyed running hard and having fun. I am so grateful I got the opportunity to pay homage to my running journey over the weekend. It was great to be around a bunch of weirdos again who love this sport just as much as I do 💙
