We're beginning #WomensHistoryMonth by honoring the life and legacy of Judy Heumann @theheumannperspective Known as "the mother of the disability rights movement," Heumann paved the way for policy victories and mentored generations of people with disabilities. Within the disability community, Heumann was known for fostering and encouraging future generations of leaders, especially younger women living with disabilities. 

While today marks 1 year since her passing, Heumann's legacy and impact lives on forever in the lives of those she touched.
