Join us for Legislative Advocacy Day in Albany on February 12th 2024! Spend the day with us urging legislators to ensure that people with disabilities receive the services and supports they need.

This is a FREE event and is open to anyone, whether you're a person with a disability, passionate about human rights, a disability rights advocate or someone who wants to join in to have their voice and perspective heard.
 
We’ll provide transportation, breakfast and lunch at no cost. To register call Jay Lantigua at (845) 565-1162 x 305 or email JLantigua@MyIndependentLiving.org. Accommodations for wheelchairs available upon request.

 
Feb. 12th Schedule:

• 7:00am // Bus departure from 10 Ann St. Municipal Lot in Newburgh to State Capitol in Albany

• 11:30am - 2:00pm // Appointments with local lawmakers and senators

• 3:30pm // Bus departure from State Capitol in Albany back to Newburgh

It’s bound to be an inspiring day of story sharing and comradery! We hope to see you there!
