How to visit 2 countries & 2 national parks in 1 day ⤵️

Welcome to Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland National Park ✨— Surprise—it’s NOT in Switzerland! 

This magical place spans across both the Czech Republic AND Germany. And while it’s technically one national park that borders two counties — there are stark and stunning contrasts! 

The park is home to fairytale landscapes, dramatic sandstone cliffs, and Europe’s largest natural arch: Pravčická Gate! (Pic 2) 

Fun Fact: this gate inspired scenes in The Chronicles of Narnia, and doesn’t it remind you of #devilsbridge in Arizona?? 

Visiting in winter means we had the trails all to ourselves. No crowds, just peaceful forests, misty viewpoints, and that “did we just stumble into a dream?” feeling.

📍 Must-see highlights:
	•	Pravčická Gate (Europe’s iconic and largest sandstone arch!)
	•	The Elbe River Canyon
	•	#BasteiBridge (just across the border in Germany!) 

🔥 ESSENTIAL TIP: if you visit by yourself in winter, you will NOT be able to enter the key areas of Bohemian Switzerland NP!  During much of winter, the parks gates are locked.
The SOLUTION: book a fun day tour from Prague with bohemiadventures—they have behind the scenes access and you’ll explore the famous arch seemingly to yourself!
