Today in Hip-Hop — @lupefiasco dropped his second studio album, ‘The Cool.’

On December 18, 2007 Lupe Fiasco followed up his impressive ‘Food & Liquor’ debut with the release of ‘Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool.’ The concept of the album continues the story told on the track of the same title, taken from ‘Food & Liquor.’ The story unfolds and introduces new characters which he called The Streets and The Game.

‘The Cool’ debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, earned a hit radio single with “Superstar” featuring Matthew Santos, as well as a Best Rap Album Grammy nomination.
