And with that, the 2024 US Open Cup came to a glorious end. Unforgettable. The journey that started all the way in Chattanooga gave us a blockbuster finish in the heart of Los Angeles. Who could’ve predicted a World Cup-winning Olivier Giroud and a 40-year-old Kei Kamara would join forces to help LAFC lift the oldest trophy in our country. Proper heritage. Even when it seemed like it’d be a run of the mill final, the magic of the Open Cup came out to bless us. Another beautiful chapter of this competition comes to a satisfying conclusion.
