🏒✨ The holiday season is Amazon’s busiest time of the year—a true “Power Play” moment when employees come together to deliver smiles.

This year, in honour of Prime Monday Night Hockey, NHL players were invited to join the action to help spread holiday cheer across Canada by visiting their local Amazon fulfilment centres to help pick and pack customer orders, meet employees and make impactful donations to deserving local causes.

📦 Calgary: On November 22 NHLFlames players connorzary7 and wolfie2332 visited Amazon’s YYC4 fulfilment centre in Southeast Calgary. Alongside beloved mascot Harvey the Hound, they packed and shipped orders, showcasing their teamwork beyond the rink.

📦 Edmonton: On December 9, EdmontonOilers star brought holiday cheer to employees at Amazon’s YEG1 fulfilment centre in Nisku. Ryan got hands-on, packing customer orders during the busy peak season. He also helped Amazon present two significant donations: $5,000 to foodbanksalberta and $5,000 to the leducdistrictfoodbank.

📦 Vancouver: On December 11, Canucks DantonHeinen and ArshdeepBains_ alongside CanucksFIN, surprised employees at Amazon’s YXX2 fulfilment centre in Richmond. Employees cheered as the players participated in a lively Q&A, revealing their pre-game rituals and reflecting on the joy of playing for hometown crowds.

Danton and Arshdeep also presented a $10,000 cheque to the VanFoodBank, continuing Amazon’s long-standing support of the organization. They then rolled up their sleeves to pack customer orders, gaining firsthand experience with Amazon’s cutting-edge robotics technology.

📦 Toronto: On December 16, MapleLeafs defenceman MorganRielly joined Amazon employees at YYZ7 in Caledon to celebrate the launch of caledon_community_services first Mobile Food Pantry. The initiative, supported by a $55,000 donation from Amazon Canada, will bring essential supplies directly to residents in remote areas of the town.

Thank you to Amazon employees for making it all happen and for giving the NHL players a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens!
