## Caption

In 2019, IJM launched the Global Survivor Network (GSN) by establishing a Leadership Council of survivors who are shaping the movement to end violence around the world. Survivors are critical allies in the work to transform justice systems so that communities are sustainably protected from violence.

Today, there are over 4,000 GSN members from 10 countries, including survivors of slavery, police abuse of power, and violence against women and children. Through their participation in local chapters of the GSN, survivors are equipped as leaders who can advocate for people to be protected from violence.
