🚨 New National Park Site Alert! 🚨

This week, President Biden also signed a proclamation establishing the Frances Perkins National Monument. Located in Newcastle, #Maine, this monument honors the legacy of Frances Perkins, the first female U.S. Secretary of Labor and a pivotal advocate for worker rights and social reform in America. The site serves as a reminder of her contributions to advancing social safety nets, labor rights, and the New Deal programs. 

The Frances Perkins National Monument will join other national park sites with a primary focus on the trailblazing accomplishments of women, including Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument, Clara Barton National Historic Site, and Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site.
