1. Skip the delsym and use honey instead! 
2. Use Vicks VapoCool or Cepacol to numb the back of your throat to stop the cough
3. Use Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation in your throat
4. Use antihistamines and decongestants to help. I love Allegra-D in the morning and Benadryl at night
5. Nasal Sprays are my favorite! Use 2 sprays of Alkalol and follow it with 2 spray of Nasacort per nostril. 👃
