I love you, forever!!

If you didn’t know, hearing your mom’s voice can significantly calm your nervous system, we’ve been through a lot but I can safely say the sound of my moms voice releases oxytocin in my brain 

It’s the “love hormone” which reduces stress and promotes feelings of comfort and security, essentially acting as a soothing mechanism similar to a hug 

so your moms voice and a hug is literally the definition of a reset 

Someone tell that to the 16 year old me — Go hug your mama
