Comment “WEEKEND” for a link to the full breakdown on how to make weekends work for you and stay within your macro goals.

Weekends are for fun, but they don’t have to derail your nutrition goals! 😎 If you find yourself struggling to stick to your macros on the weekends, you’re not alone! It’s easy to get off track with social events, dining out, and those tempting snacks. But the good news? You can absolutely stay on target with a few simple strategies!

Here’s how to stay within your macro goals while still enjoying the weekend:

Plan Ahead: Having a game plan makes it easier to avoid impulse eating and stay on track. If you have social events or meals out, take a few minutes to look ahead and decide what you can order or pack. When you plan, you eliminate those last-minute decisions that often lead to unhealthy choices.

Track Everything: We’re all guilty of a small handful of chips or a few bites of dessert, but guess what? Those add up! 🧐 If you’re tracking your macros (which you should be!), make sure you account for everything that goes into your mouth.

Hydrate: Most people don’t drink enough water, and it can sometimes be mistaken for hunger! Dehydration is a sneaky culprit that can make you feel like you need a snack when all you need is a glass of water. Drink before, during, and after meals to keep cravings at bay and help you feel full longer.

Meal Prep: Meal prep is a game-changer when it comes to staying on track with your macros. The beauty of prepping meals in advance is that it takes the guesswork out of the equation, especially when you’re busy or out and about over the weekend.

Weekends are about balance. Don’t stress over every meal or snack – make adjustments where you can, and keep your overall goals in mind. You can have your cake and eat it too (in moderation)! Try a 80/20 approach, 80% of your meals should be in line with your macros, and the other 20% can be enjoyed guilt-free.
