They also pose a major health and safety risk to the community.⁣

Over the years we’ve come across some serious injuries caused by illegal fireworks, from serious burns to open wounds and eye injuries.⁣
⁣
But using fireworks in summer can also spark bushfires, which can destroy homes and communities. It’s just not worth the risk.⁣

If you spot anyone lighting an illegal firework and you need immediate police attendance, please call Triple Zero (000).⁣
