At Bow Seat, the end of the year is more than just twinkling lights, cozy meals, and festive cheer—it’s a time to reflect on our achievements and celebrate the meaningful change we’ve created together. Let’s take a look back at 2024 and dream big for the year ahead!

Bow Seat is a multi-award-winning nonprofit based in Massachusetts, dedicated to engaging young minds in environmental conservation and advocacy through the creative arts. By merging ocean science and arts education, we empower young changemakers to think creatively and explore the wonders of the natural world.

Since our founding in 2011 by Linda Cabot, Bow Seat has reached nearly 38,000 young individuals from the globe! Through initiatives like our flagship Ocean Awareness Contest, we continue to inspire the next generation of ocean stewards to imagine and advocate for a healthier planet.

Here’s what we’ve achieved together in 2024:

💰 $108K in funding awarded through our youth programs
📚 9 Fellowship Grantees supported and mentored
🌊 more than 62M people engaged with ocean-based content digitally
📖 $4,250 in aid provided to educators
