I went back and forth on what I would post and what I would say about 2024. I originally wanted to post a photo for every artist/event I did (unfortunately that totaled to 180 photos and 65 slides so that didn’t work) so instead here are some random highlights. 
I’m not going to lie, 2024 wasn’t great, but I can’t remember the last time I had a “good” year. Some positives for the year I have to say were signing on as a contributor/freelancer with Shutterstock (a long time goal of mine has always been to work with a wire agency) and because of that I was able to photograph Billy Joel at MSG for one of his final shows, I also got to photograph hotel departure and after party photos around the Met Gala (one day I’ll get to shoot the carpet.) 
I also took a major back seat to shooting shows for publications and focused on paid work and building out my Shutterstock archive. I think I totaled at 48 shows for the year, normally I hit 100 or so shows. It was a nice  to do less, but in that time I did a lot more vip gigs and pet sitting and although it felt like a really busy year it was nice to have breaks. That being said, for 2025 I’d really like to have a full time job, I’ve been out of work since 2021 and freelancing hasn’t been kind to me, although I’d obviously love more freelance work, I’d also love to explore sports photography, do more with Shutterstock, and get on a festival media team. I try not to set high expectations because I usually end up disappointed so I guess we’ll see what happens in the new year. 🤞🏻🥂
