Most of the work I did for the discover nhl #WinterClassic was from down on the field at officialwrigleyfield , but I made it a point to do what brought me to the dance whenever I could:

Connecting with fans.

This coming week marks 7 years since I began working in sports, and there were plenty of nights those first 2 years when I was performing in front of between 5 and 20 fans at a time. I made sure they got the same amount of enthusiasm and energy that the 40,933 fans got in Chicago on New Years Eve.
