🚨𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: A new supervisors chair at the Maricopa County Board has formed an advisory committee of “political and business leaders” to focus on bringing a #Yotes NHL team back to Arizona, per Craig Morgan. 

The newly elected Maricopa County Board of Supervisors chair, Tom Galvin, is leading the operation. 

“Losing the NHL Coyotes was a low point, and I cringed when local politicians took glee in the demise of our hockey team.”

“I have had several meetings with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and he looks forward to working with us to identify an owner and the best location for a world-class building.”

Gary Bettman confirmed that he met with Galvin before Christmas via Zoom to discuss the formation of the committee and future steps.
