Celebrating Two Decades of Greenway Adventures!

On Sept. 12, 2004, eight cyclists set out from Calais, Maine, to Key West, Florida, completing the first-ever 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway journey.

Twenty years later, their legacy continues! In 2024, 16 cyclists completed the Maine-to-Florida ride, showcasing the Greenway’s growing appeal, with nearly 40% of the route now complete.
