Last week we had the pleasure of gathering a small private group together to celebrate aj.dybantsa receiving the Warrior award from seanreyesut. 

As one of his final gestures as Attorney General, AG Reyes gifted this award to AJ for his exceptional efforts as a leader in the community and on the court. 

Bearing the mantle of excellence that AJ carries at the moment is something very few will ever face. Being the #1 recruit in the nation, having national eyes and visibility locked on you at all times while only being 17 is not small task. 

But he carries himself with such poise, confidence and humility that you’d never guess the pressure he manages and performs under. 

The Warrior Award reads and given to AJ for his Power, Poise and Performance, a prodigy on the court and in life. 

For your fighting spirit, and relentless pursuit of excellence; For inspiring us with your maturity, discipline, work ethic and selflessness.

For representing the highest ideals of America infused with the noblest values of your diverse ancestry; 

For making Ueah a more welcoming and diverse place for people of all backgrounds;

For leading with honor and elevating those around you to achieve their best;

For the way you carry yourself, with confidence but not hubris, with conviction and not complacency, with integrity, intelligence and compassion without entitlement.

Congratulations to AJ for being Utah’s latest Warrior Award recipient and thank you for your contribution to Utah in the short time you’ve been here.
