Fox Lane's Alex Berisha won Saturday afternoon's 215-pound final of the Eastern States Classic wrestling tournament.

In this year's tournament at the Impact Athletic Center, Fox Lane coach Anthony Rodrigues thought Berisha had the best match of his varsity career.

"He works unbelievably hard," Rodrigues said. "He lost in the state final last year, so obviously, that's the mission. This is a really tough tournament. Hard work pays off. This is the beginning though."
