Jug Night. Go CHS Hoops. Go Bills.
 
Our alumni and friends will gather Friday evening for our annual Jug Night, the best post-holiday party in town, in the tremendous setting of Scaccia Auditorium.
 
Hosted by the Class of 1994, this year’s event again features steak, cocktails, cigars, poker and blackjack along with great CHS camaraderie with alums and current faculty and staff.
 
Tickets will be available at the door. Go to canisiushigh.org/jugnight to see the guest list and additional information.
 
From one great venue to another, the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House will host the Game of the Year in Western New York high school basketball on Saturday afternoon.
 
Canisius (11-2, 5-0) meets St. Joe’s (9-2, 5-0) at 2 p.m. in a huge game in the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association and in the local rankings, where the consensus has Canisius No. 2 behind St. Joe’s.
 
The game will sell out and tickets will not be available at the door. Buy tickets ($5) in advance this week at the CHS reception desk from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CHS students will be admitted free with their student ID.
 
The showdown is the third game in a tripleheader that begins with the freshman (11 a.m.) and JV (12:30 p.m.) contests.
