Remembering her cinematic achievements and spreading awareness this October, Wavelength Productions celebrates the life of Diahann Carroll.  The Oscar & Emmy-nominated, Golden Globe & Tony-awarded actress broke barriers as the 1st African American woman to star in her own television sitcom, Julia, in a non-servant role.  Although Carroll lost her decades-long battle with breast cancer, her impact on the film world and activism in the fight against cancer will not be forgotten.
