It is a global crisis that threatens international peace and security, robbing millions of people of their dignity and freedom. With more than 27 million people—adults and children alike—worldwide suffering from this exploitation, human trafficking enriches transnational criminals and terrorists, while endangering public safety and national security everywhere.⁠

Human Trafficking Awareness Month, which is the month of January, highlights the vital efforts of organizations working to educate the public, support survivors, and provide resources to combat this issue. However, what are ways we can contribute to the cause?⁠
