CDT THURSDAY: MEET CAPTAIN LYDIA✨⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
YEARS ON THE TEAM: 4⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
💃 DANCE HISTORY: "After training for many years in the competition dance world, I attended the University of Akron, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Dance and was a member of the Dance Team. After graduating, I began my first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers! I have been so fortunate to have so many exciting experiences with the Cavaliers, including performing as a back up dancer for DJ Khaled during 2022 All Star weekend, dancing during the 75th Anniversary Ceremony at the NBA All Star Game, performing as a backup dancer for LL Cool J during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction, representing CDT at Pro Action Dance intensive in Las Vegas, and performing at the NBA Paris Game! "⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
😍 WHAT MAKES CDT UNIQUE: "One of my favorite aspects of CDT is the team’s versatility. It is so rewarding as a dancer to have the opportunity to perform a variety of styles!"⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🎉 FAVORITE CDT MEMORY: "One of my favorite moments from last season was participating in the Cavaliers’ adaptive sports clinic in France, as a part of the 2024 NBA Paris Game! I love being able to see all of the ways sports can connect and uplift people! "
