Uni may not be for everyone, and if you're looking for work that gives back to your community and offers ongoing paid training, a career in policing may be an option.⁣

To apply, there are no educational requirements, including ATAR. And if you do choose to study before applying, some Bachelor's degrees may exempt you from sitting the entrance exam.⁣
 ⁣
Younger applicants should consider life experience where work experience may be missing, including:⁣
👮customer service roles that may expose you to working with different people and develop your communication skills⁣
👮volunteer experience to build community mindedness and communication skills⁣
👮sporting club experience to showcase teamwork, communication and leadership skills (as well as fitness!)⁣
👮overseas travel that will expose you to other cultures and build your independence.⁣
