Sports might be my profession, but fitness has always been my passion. They go hand in hand a lot of times. I was raised by a football coach and instead of going to daycare, I sat in the weight room watching my Dad teach. Fitness was a part of my upbringing, probably why I work in the field that I do. I got my PT certification years back so I could share that passion with others. I believe this education elevated my journalism career as well. I love reporting on the game and at the same time knowing the “behind the scenes” grind it takes💪🏼 BUT I also recognize not everyone came from that same path. Not everyone was raised to love fitness the way in which I do. Fitness can be daunting. Gyms can be intimidating. Start lines can seem monumental. It’s January 6th, and if you think it’s too late to make a goal/change because you didn’t start on the 1st, you’re wrong. Start today…even tomorrow, but take this as your sign to begin. Take the plunge! Make your health and wellness a priority in 2025. You don’t have to be winning Super Bowls to be accomplished. Little steps. One at a time.👏🏼 Confused on where to start?! My advice?
