A Solemn Day In Milwaukee.

Even as temperatures plummeted to single digits on Sunday afternoon, fans, friends, and employees continued to gather at American Family Field to honor Bob Uecker, following the news of his passing on Thursday at the age of 90. 

Uecker’s statue saw a steady flow of visitors throughout the day, with people leaving everything from hats, beer, flowers, heartfelt notes, and even pieces of old Milwaukee County Stadium. Often regarded as the most beloved figure in all of baseball, those who listened to Uecker continue to pay tribute to his legacy as a hometown icon and voice of the Brewers from 1971 to 2024.
