Day 2 Palisades Fire. Engine 9s crew,attached to the Palisades Fire,  found a large two story, above parking, apartment complex that was starting to catch fire. However, the only hydrant was across PCH on the ocean side and the apartment complex was on the other side and up the hill. As 9s crew began their operation, LACoFD Point Dume Fire Brigade saw the situation and assisted with water supply and helping bring 400ft of hose up the very steep hill. As the Fire Factory got water, they found that it was actually 2 fully involved units on each floor at the end of the complex. With an aggressive fire attack, the crew quickly extinguished both units, including the top unit that had self vented through the roof, and stopped the spread of the fire to save rest of the complex.
