As the snow fell this afternoon around dismissal time, some selected students were directed to brush off the cars in the parking lot. #jug #iykyk 

This comes one day before our alumni gathers at 1180 Delaware Ave. for the best post-holiday party in town, a night named in honor of formative afterschool moments like this one. 

Preparations continue here for Friday’s Jug Night and Saturday’s basketball rivalry showdown with St. Joe’s. 

Jug Night tickets will be available at the door for the great event in Scaccia Auditorium, hosted this year by the Class of 1994, which again features steak, cocktails, cigars, poker and blackjack along with great CHS camaraderie.

Saturday’s basketball Game of the Year has No. 2 Canisius (11-2, 5-0) hosting No. 1 St. Joe’s (9-2, 5-0) at 2 p.m. at the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House.

The game will sell out and tickets will not be available at the door. Buy tickets ($5) in advance Friday at the CHS reception desk from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CHS students will be admitted free with their student ID. 

The showdown is the third game in a tripleheader that begins with the freshman (11 a.m.) and JV (12:30 p.m.) contests. More information is available at canisiussports.com
