FULL DAY of The Experience 2025 in High School. EVERY group was in action! 

Students toured USC and UCLA as potential college options. They learned about hosting major events at the LA Coliseum (and its rich 100-year history in sports and entertainment) and visited local museums and businesses, while others connected with LAPD Air Support, began work on a short film, and explored Mexican cuisine.
 
They snowshoed and learned survival skills in Mammoth, worked at Gleanings for the Hungry in the Central Valley, served the homeless and continued home construction in Mexico, and trained with nine-time NCAA National Champion California Baptist University Cheer.

In New York, students enjoyed a workshop with actor Angela Pierce and toured the city, which included a memorable stop at the Schomburg Library of African American Culture in Harlem and the legendary Apollo Theatre — all before watching six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald in “Gypsy” at the Majestic Theatre with VCS alum Peyton Podgorski.

Students walked the Great Wall of China, zip lined above the Costa Rican rainforest, connected with other high school students and experienced local wildlife in Belize, and toured Barcelona, becoming immersed in history and culture in Spain.
