Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum urged for a "cool head" in response to President Trump's tariff threat on Tuesday. Her remarks came a day after a flurry of executive actions signed by President Trump, which included measures to curb migration into the U.S.

Trump suggested his administration is considering 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico as soon as Feb. 1 unless they take stronger measures to stop the flow of unauthorized migrants and and illicit drugs flowing into the U.S. While Sheinbaum didn't address the proposed tariff directly, she said the North American free trade agreement that Trump signed is up for review in 2026. #mexico #trump #claudiasheimbaum
