Coming to the Grand Palais Sale on 6 February is a 1988 Jaguar Lynx XKSS 4.2-Litre, crafted by Lynx Motors International. Based on the legendary D-Type, the original XKSS was a road-going version of the Le Mans winner, offering a 3.4-litre engine, 250bhp, and a top speed of over 150mph. Tragically, only 16 were made before a factory fire ended production in 1957, cementing its status as one of Jaguar’s rarest and most iconic cars. This Lynx-built replica embodies that legacy with stunning accuracy and performance.

Originally a 1966 Jaguar E-Type Coupé 2+2, this car was transformed into an XKSS by Lynx and further enhanced by CKL Developments, including fittings from Steve McQueen’s XKSS. Registered in France as a Lynx XKSS Replica, it is road-legal and offered with a detailed history file, spare parts, and accessories.
