Who knew zip ties could be more than an inconvenience when opening packages? Apparently New Trier High School class of 2012 graduate Sarah Leuchtner did. Leuchtner gives zip ties a creative use by weaving them into works of art. Anyone can head to the Ann Brierly Gallery to view a collection of Luechtner’s work until Nov. 22.
