Last Saturday, Los Amigos de Apoyo and the Multicultural Resource Commons kicked off Latine Heritage Month with a sizzling Community Carne Asada event! Students prepared toasted tortillas, chorizo, and rice and beans, and took turns using the grill on the patio of Zechiel House.

Zeke, also known as Latinx Heritage House, is a designated living and learning space that prioritizes the historical and contemporary experiences of Latinx/o/e people.
