We swapped the cup cakes for conversations this IWD at TSC and sat down with Melbourne Rebels Vice Captain Mel Kawa.

An incredible ambassador for the game, Mel spoke about Motherhood, Rugby and the changing landscape of Women’s Sport.

I had the pleasure of playing with Mel back in 2019, and have constantly been in awe of her character, determination and resilience.

I’m so grateful to Mel for making the time, and all the women driving progress for the next generation in sport.
