The Dorso family, owners of the sussexcountyminers and jackalsbaseball, were proud to attend last night’s Robert Luongo ALS Fund’s 21st Annual Charity Event at naninasinthepark in Belleville, NJ. Al and Michael Dorso joined Phil Cuzzi, wefightals founder and mlb umpire, and over 600 guests to honor Luongo and support the fight against ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

The Dorsos were also thrilled to contribute to the ALS Fund as the winning bidders of “The Captain,” an original painting of yankees legend derekjeter by renowned painter lisapalomboartist. The painting, graciously autographed by Jeter, was one of the event’s 100+ auction items. One hundred percent of the auction’s proceeds go toward ALS research, patient care, and scholarships for victims’ children.
