1. Develop a Skill You Can Monetize: Unearth the inner artist, businessperson, etc. within you while finding a skill to financially fuel your journey. I worked for years to build a portfolio of photography & digital media, capturing a range from high-energy concerts to tranquil travel scenes, allowing me to work with countless clientele. This skill doesn’t just reflect my artistic side; it’s also a practical tool for earning and attracting various opportunities, such as free hotel stays & much else!

2. Formulate Your Plan (or don’t): Clear, concise planning lays a solid foundation. Do you aim to use your content to pave your travel paths or let the profits from your skills fund your adventures? Your plan should mirror your goals and be a guide as you venture into the unknown. You don’t always have to have one, but looking back if I had planned better I’d be able to do so much more! 

3. Take the Leap: Time waits for no one! Yes, earning money is vital, but the experiences and growth you gain from embracing adventure & following your passions are priceless. Don’t wait for a “perfect” moment. Just jump in!

4. Step Out Boldly: Leaving the comfort zone is challenging, but necessary for growth and excitement. The risk is part of the journey, adding to the thrill and stories you’ll tell in the future.

5. Have Fun: Since quitting my 9-5 back in June, my life has been more exciting & challenging than I could have ever imagined. If you choose to embark on this journey, though, remember to have fun! That’s the whole point of life anyways, to enjoy it! I keep having to remind myself that I’m living the life I dreamed of only a few months ago, and this is still just the beginning.
