CREW SPOTLIGHT

🌟 We’re highlighting some of the regular faces seen on our sets that make every project possible. This week, we’re spotlighting Production Assistant and Camera Operator, Phoebe Rensink (pheb__resnick)!

🎥 Who is Phoebe?
Phoebe has had an interest in visual arts since a very early age, and started channeling that interest into filmmaking and video production in middle school. During her time at Ball State University, Phoebe had the opportunity to DP several short films that solidified her passion for cinematography. She has since worked in and around the camera department on a variety of productions since graduating in 2023. Phoebe loves visual storytelling and working with the FLB team to bring cool projects to life. She is also a former Division I swimmer for Ball State (Chirp Chirp!).

🔧 What makes their role special?
Phoebe has worked as a Production Assistant, Grip, and Camera Operator for the FLB team on various projects since 2023. She can frequently be seen assisting the team in setting up lights, moving equipment, recording audio, slating takes, and shooting Behind the Scenes footage. She has also been an occasional B Cam Operator on shoots for the US Air Force Marathon, Dr. Barry Eppley, and the Carmel Christkindlmarkt.

🌐 A favorite moment or project?
“Any shoot with the FLB team is always great to be part of! That said, being the Key Grip for the MIDNIGHT AT THE DINER short film was a very cool experience. I love narrative projects that allow for so much creativity in the production- from the lighting to the set design to the performances- and getting to shoot in a retro diner overnight was an amazing learning experience that was very fun.”
