Meet Eunice, a 10th grader from Malawi! #SponsoredStudentTuesday 🎓 
 
Access to #education in #Malawi 🇲🇼 has greatly improved with the net enrollment at the primary level reaching 90% in 2018 says UNICEF. Unfortunately, keeping students in #school 🍎  is a challenge - by the time students reach 7th grade, enrollment goes down to 47%. 
 
According to the WorldBank Human Capital project, a child 👶 born today in Malawi will only be 41% as productive as they could potentially be if they enjoyed complete and quality education and full #health 🏥 
 
This 16-year-old is on a mission to impact health in her #community. Eunice dreams of one day becoming a #nurse 💉 But the road to achieving her #dream may not be easy…
 
At #TheSonderProject, we see #girls who are especially prone to dropping out of school early due to gender norms that prioritize education for boys 👦  and the responsibilities of household care for girls 👧  That’s why our sponsorship #program requires that at least 50% of our #students be girls. This school year, 57% of our sponsored students are young #women.
