This Saturday, February 8, experience a rare behind-the-scenes look at how art is preserved for generations to come. During Community Day: Lunar New Year, our Conservator, Yeonjoo Kim, will be working live in the galleries from 1-4pm, carefully restoring a delicate painting—revealing hidden details and vibrant colors beneath years of aging.

While you celebrate the Year of the Snake with dazzling performances, hands-on crafts, and cultural traditions, take a moment to observe the meticulous care that keeps our collection alive.
