Ever see your deaf/hard of hearing child sneaking away alone or simply craving quiet time? That’s me! 🙋🏻‍♀️

No matter how well your DHH child is doing - bottom line I believe, is that we are DHH living/struggling/striving/thriving in a hearing world. And we need breaks now and then! My FAVORITE part about being deaf is being able to turn you off 🤣 #SorryNotSorry

Even my hearing kids ask for quiet or alone time.  Definitely something they learned from watching me - and that I will forever honor their requests! How do you or your kids deal with listening fatigue?
